Eagle is a large format, limited edition, letterpress poster depicting the first lunar landing on 20 July 1969. The Apollo 11 crew of Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins became household names as they captured the world’s attention and became the first manned mission to land on the moon.

Each print details the names, timings and information of the actual moment of touch down, as well as Neil Armstrong’s iconic confirmation quote “The Eagle has landed”.

The montage is made up from a number of different print runs. Each pass uses vintage wood block letters that have had a hard working life and create wonderful textures and imperfections on the textured ‘laid’ paper.

Each limited edition, letterpress poster has been hand inked and printed using original techniques and processes – no two are the same! They are individually signed, numbered and embossed.
